Erie High School Education Foundation

The Erie High School Education Foundation believes that everyone needs support from time to time, and we want to be assured that the Erie High School community is taken care of. We have dedicated our work to this community — providing scholarship support to EHS staff, students and alumni to help students unlock their potential.

We want all individuals to envision their goals and realize they have the ability to make their dreams a reality.

Paving the Way to a Brighter Future

Scholarship Award Ceremony

We celebrate the scholarship recipients at our annual awards ceremony with friends, family and scholarship sponsors.

Members of the Erie High School Education Foundation Board of Directors all have a tie to the Erie Community. The Principal of Erie High School, Mr. Josh Griffin, sits on the Board as a representative of the school administration. Other members like our President, Dave Sullivan, and our Recording Secretary, Lisa Knudsen, have children who are past graduates from Erie High School. Several Board members are former EHS Tigers. Giving back to our community is a key value for all Foundation members. Student Advisors to the Board are current EHS students who are appointed annually to serve with the Board.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with fundraising and events.

We support our own.

Providing scholarships for Erie High School students to pursue their post-secondary educational goals is a true community effort. Scholarship Sponsors and Donors are local businesses and community members. Donors range from large corporations to parents and teachers from the Erie community.

The Erie High School Education Foundation makes a huge impact in the Erie High School community by providing scholarships to support our students'  goals and dreams.  Last year, the Foundation awarded over $85,000 in scholarship to support Erie High School graduates and alumni with their post-secondary studies in 2-year, 4-year, and trade schools across the United States.  The Foundation Board of Directors is composed of a diverse array Erie community members - parents of alumni, parents of current students, Erie High School alumni, and our outstanding student advisors.  What an incredible organization - I am honored to be a part of it!.”
